Amongst the breaking news today that Dennis Moore (D-KS) from KS-03 is retiring, those of us here at FWKS thought we’d take the time to update you on what is going on around the state. If you feel like talking about the current state of things in Kansas , you’ll have some opportunity to meet with like-minded individuals… starting tonight.
Kansas City
Tonight – The Johnson County Democratic Women’s group will be having their monthly meeting at Café 75 in Lenexa, starting at 6pm for Dinner.
Sunday – The Fourth Annual John and Robert Kennedy Memorial Dinner will be held at Jalisco’s Mexican Restaurant. The topic of the evening will be the many achievements of the late Edward M. Kennedy.
Saline
Tomorrow – The Saline County Democrats will be having their monthly potluck dinner and social at the Saline Labor Building starting at 6:30pm.
Wichita
Tonight - The Sedgwick County Democratic Club is hosting their monthly dinner meeting at Furr’s Dinner at 6:30pm.
