Still want to listen to the GOP talking smack on the stimulus plan? Guess what… the entire state of Kansas is about to be a WiFi hot spot. The state of Kansas has been given a $2 million federal grant for a rural broadband program.
The Connect Kansas program, developed to fund broadband programs, is aimed at increasing high-speed Internet access across the state.

The Kansas grant was announced in November by the National Telecommunications and Information Administration.
