Kansas Senate Race Still Pretty Even

in U.S. Senate

I’m not a huge believer in the SurveyUSA polls, but our friends at PrimeBuzz referenced it this morning.

A new poll from SurveyUSA shows the race at 37 percent for Jerry Moran, 34 percent for Todd Tiahrt. The margin of error is 4.6 percent, meaning that either number could swing by that much.

The new finding is in marked contrast to the 43-27 finding in Moran’s favor in an early October survey by the same pollster.

And a full 29% thinks both candidates are nuts and they’d rather see a trained monkey represent them in the US Senate.  Okay, not really.  See… this is why I prefer the ranking in the Gov’s race at least it perfectly captures the trained monkey vote.  But since Brownback isn’t running in this seat, we have to assume there is still room for Republican voters to find themselves one for that race.
